As we prepare to relaunch ThankYouForGaming, some folks have asked us why we still use Left4Dead2 as our default multiplayer game, both alone and with guests. There are many answers, but we’ve tossed together a quick highlight video of our most recent refresher session to show why.

And that really sums it up – even after all this time, each match is different, each match is fun, and each match is funny in its own way.

So take a look at the clips and if you’re feeling saucy and into insider industry commentary among other things, hit the channel up and follow.

Don’t fret if you couldn’t make it to watch today’s episode of Thank You For Gaming — we’ve got the stream captured and saved for you and embedded above!

In this episode, Annoyed Gamer Marcus Beer joins the Maverick PR crew to discuss the Top 10 Games of the Last 10 Years, in a shameless rip-off of Joystiq’s series. Where do you think great games like Batman, RDR, WoW, GTAV, Dead Space, Rock Band, XCom, Borderlands, Fallout 3, Half Life 2 and more fall?

The second episode of our new streaming/interview experimental series, THANK YOU FOR GAMING, will be LIVE today at 2:00 pm eastern as we are joined in QuakeLive by Square Enix PR guy, Justin Kranzl.

For those of you unfamiliar, THANKYOUFORGAMING is a new Twitch channel that tosses video game PR and marketing (and other) folks into a game with us where they will be interviewed, questioned and otherwise affronted with our annoying gameplay styles and voices.

Today we’re very excited to be joined by Special Guest Justin Kranzl, a Senior PR guy at Square Enix, a self-proclaimed legend at Quakeworld, and an all-around good guy when it comes to PR who work in VG PR. He’s led the charge on some pretty major games there, including Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Sleeping Dogs, and FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, so show some respect! If you’re not following him on Twitter, well shame on you.

Today we will be playing Quakelive, as, since we do this in our spare time, we didn’t have time to ensure everyone had L4D2 installed — maybe L4D2 next time.

So join us on Twitch @ 2pm eastern, while we try to remember how to play this awesome game and learn a bit more about the industry and one of its key players along the way.
