GAMES OF GLORY Launches Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight Campaigns

PARIS (JULY 22, 2014) — LightBulb Crew, an independent game development studio with a team built around veterans of Ubisoft, DICE, and Codemasters, has launched both a Kickstarter campaign and a Steam Greenlight campaign for its upcoming genre-busting MOBA, Games of Glory. The game is currently in a playable Alpha state, and is looking for support to complete and polish a finished product.

Games of Glory brings a true community dimension to MOBAs and presents a major breakthrough in the way MOBAs have traditionally been played, by making e-sports part of the setting, and offering players the ability to choose different roles within the e-sport universe, such as star players, tournament planners, club head, trainer, recruiter, and more.

In addition, the game separates itself by being a true mix of different genres: Arena battles where team play is key is mixed with controls from Hack & Slash games and the free aiming and exchangeable weapons from shooters. This creates an experience where action is firmly in focus and skill and the ability to adapt is highly rewarded. Matches in Games of Glory are intense from start to end.

In Games of Glory, players enter a vast, futuristic universe called the Synarchy, and take control of champion Clones from clubs all over the galaxy, who fight to impose their supremacy. The Clones are armed with a selection of unique skills and can choose from more than 40 different weapons during the game, including close combat weapons, lasers, rocket launchers and many more.  Based on the player’s support of different factions, the universe evolves with the wins and losses in the arena. With many personalization options, the player will be able to customize his Clones thanks to numerous equipment pieces to make them both unique in appearance and deadly on their path to victory.
